In the four years since we formed the Administration, the Elmbridge component of the Council Tax has risen by just 4.9%, compared to an overall inflation rate of 12%, and I have to say it contrasts with the staggering 60% increase in the last 5 years of the Resident Association Administration.

Editor’s note: The EBC Resident and Liberal opposition criticised the Conservative administration for the 0% increase. Through strong financial management the Conservative administration managed this fantastic most excellent result. Have you seen any cuts in front line services? Of course not! In fact despite the 0% increase, the council is still investing almost £ 1.5 m on capital projects in the borough. This includes enhancements to play areas, investment in CCTV, car parks and centres for the retired.
Trust the Elmbridge Conservatives to ensure Elmbridge is correctly managed and vote at the next elections for your Conservative candidate otherwise you will be in for increases in your EBC council tax perhaps another 60% increase over the next 5 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
