The building has been extensively modernised and refurbished over the years, not least after the Ashcombe Suite was badly damaged on 6 July 1944. Only permit holding staff and visitors with mobility difficulties who are Blue Badge holders are able to park on-site. Depending on demand on the day, other visitors may be offered a permit by security. This allows free parking on floors eight to 15 of The Bittoms multi-storey car park. If you driving but not parking on site, please do not park in residential streets as this can cause problems for people who live there.
