We are in the process of selecting candidates for next year's Elmbridge Borough Council elections and the 2021 Surrey County Council elections.
If you enjoy helping your community and want to ensure your council is well-run and deliveries high-quality services for residents, and if you want to protect our local environment and speak up for causes you care about, then please get in touch and see if becoming a local councillor might be for you. No prior political experience is necessary.
Councillors receive a basic allowance of £5,066 per annum and benefit from training while in the role. The vast majority of meetings are in the evenings. If you think you have what it takes to be a community champion, we'd love to hear from you. Candidate interviews will start in late July 2019.
