Esher & Walton Conservatives are looking for passionate, dedicated individuals interested in making a positive difference locally, to stand to be a Councillor in their community and join our strong existing team.
Being a Councillor is a hugely rewarding position. You will be able to act as an advocate for your community and work to make a genuine difference to the lives of local residents. As a Councillor, you will have the opportunity to shape local policy on leisure and sport facilities, events organisation, youth services, waste and recycling, housing, business planning and much more!
Applications are open for Elmbridge Borough.
Perhaps you are already involved in your community and want to take the next step. Or maybe you’re looking for a worthwhile and rewarding way to help your neighbourhood. Either way, we want to hear from you.
Please send us a message or email [email protected] to register your interest or find out more information.
While you don’t need any specific skills to become a Councillor, you will have to be over 18 and have lived or worked in the Elmbridge Borough for a least 12 months prior to the date of nomination (May 2021). We also require any applicant not currently a paid-up member to join the Conservative Party before standing.
So maybe it’s time to come off the side lines and play a more active role in your community? Get in touch today!
